Kouta Sasai is an allround visual artist who is exploring all the edges and faraway corners of his talent and his art. Struggling with the matter, his subjects and the mental state needed to push his boundaries. Very active on the social media, Kouta has a large following of enthousiast artists, who all admire his work and his assiduous striving for better, more authentic painting. He is an artists’ artist. And when we announced Kouta would be sending us some work from Japan, several of our habitual artists volunteered to add some of their own work. Some habitual oil on canvas painters have even take up gouache painting inspired by Kouta. We are very happy and proud to show Koutas work and are looking forward to showing it to as many people as possible.
